Small Wind Turbine Solutions – Rooftop and Groundmount
Small Wind Turbines are available in capacities ranging from 0.45KW to 20KW in OFF-GRID and ON-GRID configurations. These turbines are maintenance-free and designed to operate for 20 years. Probably, the only Wind Turbine in the Indian Market which can generate 130% of the rated output at top wind speed of 13m/s. This means 2KW Wind Turbine can generate 2.6KW at 13m/s Wind Speed. The yearly average energy output for these Wind Turbines is 20-30% higher than turbines available in the market today.
Rooftop Wind Turbine Installations incorporate 5-6m Tower and are installed on the columns to withstand high dynamic loads of the Wind Turbine rotation. Tower Heights can go upto 40m typically for 10/20KW Wind Turbines installed on the Ground.
To install Wind Turbines we need to maintain a minimum Vertical Clearance of 5-6m from the Wind Turbine Hub to the nearest obstruction like trees/ buildings within a radius of 100m. Selection of site and positioning of Wind Turbine is critical to its performance during its lifetime.

Long Life Batteries for Wind Solar Systems
We offer Exide make Batteries designed for Wind-Solar applications. They are highly reliable with 5 years warranty and 8-10 years Service Life for Systems upto 5KW. Above 5KW Systems, we offer 2V Exide make batteries with Service Life upto 18 years.
OFF-GRID and ON-GRID Applications
OFF-GRID Systems utilize batteries to store generated energy and is consumed by the load as and when required. Best suited for applications in India where export of excess power to the Grid is not permitted for 1-100KW Wind-Solar Systems. Auto-Changeover Switch ensures uninterruptible Power Supply to the load even when the battery is discharged.
ON-GRID Systems are best suited for applications where load is ON 24X7 and the generated power is consumed by the load and the deficit power is drawn from the Grid supply. In countries having Net-Metering Policy, ON-GRID Systems are techno-commercially viable for all applications since the govt buys the excess power generated for 1-100KW Wind-Solar Systems . In India, ON-GRID Systems are only suitable for continuous load operation.
